Took this nice portrait of Eugene Fields of Columbus who takes care of his wife Carol, back, who has Alzheimer. It was a preview for the Alzheimer's Association walk over the weekend. My heart goes out to you Mr. Fields, you are a great man!
Some times we have to work with the page designers who do the page layouts. I took this shot of two BalletMet dancers and for their performance of 7 Deadly Sins and then worked with the Artist to get something cool. He had an idea after looking at my pictures and asked what I thought about it. I liked it a lot and thought that it worked well for the story. The first picture is what I took, and the second one is what ran in the paper.
I took a chance and it paid off last night. I used a 500 mm lens to shoot the Jackets from a different spot, high above in the stands. Thank god they went into a shootout and won. If they lost, I don't know what picture they would of ran!
